I love the dailymash, and I found myself agreeing with much of the article below, about how we should send our kids back to the 1950's.
(Well, except for the bit about women not having opinions or jobs. And perhaps also the wearing of starched white pinafores..)
I can't help feeling that our lives are too full of technology, and we're all so busy tweeting we're missing out on all those good, healthy things in life, like taking walks, appreciating nature and seeing our friends, (rather than seeing their photos on Facebook).
Plus we're constantly soaking up all the radiation from our wireless networks, laptops and iphones, and that really can't be good.
Don't we want our kids to have a better life than all this? For them to be able to experience the great outdoors? To have a good, healthy diet, and do real activities, not virtual ones. Like playing real sports with real human interaction rather than sitting in front of the wii?
So yes, I'm all for sending our kids back to the 1950's. And I think I might come along too...
